Integration merchandising system

Webflow
Context First
We had 20+ integration detail pages
Each update (like changing an image or testing a layout) took 2–3 days and required dev support
Our website and product pages would be inconsistent during the transition
Problem Unpacked
Who was blocked:
Product Marketing couldn’t test layouts or content
Designers had no access to push updates
Developers were overloaded with content-related requests
The Breakthrough
Solution: Hybrid system using:
Webflow for flexible visual content
Iframe to embed that content in the app
Database for critical info (price, name, CTA)
Retool to safely edit DB entries.
Design & Implementation
What I did:
Mapped out editable vs non-editable regions.
Created Webflow layouts based on design
Connected iframe logic by integration ID
Helped define DB + Retool workflow
Outcome Highlights
Content updates now happen instantly (vs 2–3 days)
Zero developer intervention
Consistent story across product and website
Greater control for PMs and designers
What’s Next Visually
A/B test content via Webflow page variants
Build preview UI: toggle old vs new layout
Add smart analytics tracking on embedded content.
Final Note
This wasn’t just a workaround — it was a system-level upgrade that empowered marketing, freed up developers, and made the integration experience truly flexible.
